The real costs sit outside the quote. Sea freight is four to six weeks, import duty and VAT land on arrival, and inspection matters enormously because you will not be walking the floor. Budget for a third-party inspection before the goods ship — it is cheap against the value of a run you cannot return.

For most first collections the minimums make it impractical, and brands that start here usually do so with an agent who has an existing relationship with the factory. Going direct from a cold email is possible and it is a slower and more expensive education than it looks.
